I've been on Lo Loestrin (or something like that) for almost a year now. I frequently skip periods while I'm on it, but there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. At first, I would pee on all the things, but now I realize that it's because of my pill. Would you keep taking a pill that would cause you to skip your period at random? Or would you go on something that made your period more consistent and predictable?
I would first double check with my doctor that occasionally skipping periods was normal. After that, I'm not sure, but if other forms of BC were an option, I'd take those, just to be sure.

If that's the only annoying thing about it, I would stay on it. I would POAS every 8 weeks or so just for peace of mind.
This is coming from a person who gets a ton of side effects from all pills, so just having random periods is a symptom I could deal with. (Mine were yeast infections, no drive, moodyness).

I was on Loestrin before getting pregnant with Lincoln and I didn't have a single period the entire time I was on it. I didn't mind it but if you do, I would mention it to your dr and see what they have to say about it.

I've had two friends on this pill and my one friend NEVER got her period on it. My other friend got her period every 28 days but not even heavy enough to wear anything. It was more like spotting. Call your dr, but i bet they will say it is normal with this certain pill.

I know it's normal with this pill, so I'm not too concerned. I like the idea of POASing every other month or so, just to be sure. It's really the only side effect I've had, so I'm a fan of this pill otherwise.
I am on loestrin and the past two months I have had barely a period and POAS both months. This is the first time it happened on this pill ever. I have been on it for over a year and before that I was on it for years. So it freaked me the eff out. I am not the type to POAS even when I was TTC I never did until my period was over a week late and then got a BFP, then only took one more test the next day. I had no idea that people did all this POAS business!
I really don't want to spend money on tests every month or so so I am hoping this no period business stops. But I don't think I would change my BCP for it. Other pills I have been on make me too nauseaous.
