I mean, he is my kid...he has always been a little weird, but the past 24 hours make me wonder if there is a developmental milestone going on. He is so dramatic; fake laughing, fake crying, mega tantrums over the littlest things. This morning he took his diaper off in anger because I wouldn't let him suck on my makeup brush. Like, he took it off, laughed, brought it to me, and threw it down at my feet. Oh, and yesterday he expressed regret for the first time.
Have others had this sudden emotional/manipulative explosion? I'm exhausted from all the emotions!
The screeching. Oh, the screeching. Abby was never much of a tantrumer, but Caleb screamed at me in wailing tears because I wouldn't let him have any goldfish after dinner. At least, that was the last tantrum of the night. Can't remember the others, but I'm sure they were for equally justifiable reasons.

We are feeling ALL the feelings over here, too. It looks like backstage at drama tryouts most of the day. For some reason, it's amplified when Daddy comes in from work.

Evan is still mellow for the most part, but has his moments. We were at my dad's last weekend and I took away the cloth wipe spray. He ran to the bedroom, screamed and slammed the door. We ignored it so after a minute he opened the door, screamed, and slammed it again. Teenage years are going to be awesome.
