My babies are missing their Nigerian gene

I'm introducing A to Nigerian food and we had fried plantains as part of dinner. L has never liked them and neither does A. 

Where did I go wrong?

One of my good friends in Nigerian. She is American but moved to Canada a few years ago, and had twins. Just like all you all should move here and have your children. Hello dual citizenship.

jamaicam - you mean green plantains? I've only ever had ripe, I actually prefer them to be overripe. Speaking of food, I cannot wait to get my hands on some Coco Bread and beef patties. I may have made L cry when I told her about them, she wants to try it so bad. T minus 28 days!!!

I use vegetable oil if I go old school, but I've also used Olive oil and it's just as good.

I know next to nothing about Nigerian food, but this makes me want to go find some now!
