Leo hasn't eaten much last night and this morning, but seems to be in good spirits. Then he had a weird diaper this morning but not weird enough to keep home. I found out one of the other babies is getting over the stomach flu at daycare. Ugh, hold me. I just know I will be getting a call today.

Morgan is 9 months old today! How did that even happen? I couldn't take her monthly picture this morning because on top of the usual rushing to get out the door on time to drop her off and get to work she decided to take a huge stinky dump. I found myself saying to her "Thanks a lot kid - you couldn't wait 20 minutes to do this at daycare? That's what we pay them for!" LOL.
I'm not loving this semester with H's class & work schedule. I say goodbye to him at 5:30am on Tuesday and don't see him again until about 9pm on Thursday night except for about 30 minutes on Wednesday night between me getting home from work & him leaving for work
LO was a brat this morning. I brought her into daycare with no shoes or socks on because she would not put them on. Her hair was a mess because she wouldn't let me brush her hair. She finally let me do these things before I left her. She is so not a morning person.
I ran out of deodorant and am wearing DH's. I keep getting whiffs of it and am hoping people don't think I smell like a man. I guess it's better than having bad BO.

I'm really sorry luckyval. I hope he gets his act together.
I feel hungover this morning. I didn't get to the train station until 7 last night. A girlfriend had to pick up Andy from daycare, we met out for dinner because it was too late to cook, but Andy was tired and melted down right after we ordered so I took him home while my friend stayed and got the food to go. After bath and bed, I didn't get to eat until 9 pm. I have a commuter hangover.

The flash flooding around here is horrible this morning. My power was off for several hours this morning and my clinicals were canceled. I think I just heard on the news that 2 people have died. Businesses and schools are closing. I've never seen anything like this and I've lived here for more than half of my life.
puddleofgrace - yeah, lots of friends will be at this wedding, so that's not a problem. I was just looking forward to a night out with him. I feel like I always have to twist his arm to get him to hang out with them (and he claims to like them and I think he really does). Him putting his sisters and mom before us was a big issue earlier on in our relationship, so I'm sure I'm putting some of that old resentment into this, too.
I passed out at around 9:30 last night. Yesterday, I went to three grocery stores, made chocolate chip cookies, ran four loads of laundry, cleaned the kitchen, made the meals, brought the kids to and from school and went to the library with them.
This morning I made the snacks and D's lunch. I am tired. D was five minutes late to school. I was walking him to the kindergarten gate and the lady was locking it so we had to walk around the school and instead of a minute late I was five minutes late. I went to the get a tardy slip and I said we're a minute late and need a tardy slip and she said you're five minutes late school starts at blank, blank. Then I'm leaving the office, I see another mother breeze right by the office not bothering to get a tardy slip. My child gets a tardy recorded and what her kid gets nothing?

Today, my H and I are registering our new car. GA is so backwards because since both of our names are on the title/registration, both of us to go there in person to register it. And I'm the primary on the car. His new job is an hour from the house so he has to take off work for two hours.
Also, since my other car is totaled, they won't let me take the insurance off of it because Geico hasn't officially said it was totaled. We are still waiting on the final evaluation from the other guy's insurance. So now I have 3 cars on our car insurance. Hopefully, it is done before our next car insurance payment. If I remove it early, they will charge us a fine.
It's been raining for 3 days here and everything started flooding last night. A road that I drive on all the time just collapsed and 3 cars are in the water. This little ditch by me is a raging river. It's crazy here.
It just hailed here, wtf! Dd woke up cranky as hell. Going to be a long day, especially since my H won't be home till late. Our older dog has been going downhill lately. H just had him to the vet, but I feel like I need to take him back & get real answers about his health & quality of life :/
Yesterday was picture day at school. DD has curly hair, she actually let me style her hair with gel and dry in the gator clips. Her hair looked so cute. Right before pictures, her teacher went by and combed everyone's hair. I know she had good intensions, but ARGH!

I didn't see your post before I posted. Are you in Boulder? I'm in far north Westminster. It's insane.

Frederick. DH and I both commute into Boulder County though. It's still raining cats and dogs at home.

My new boss made me cry this morning. I was not even in work an hour, and he has been here for one week, and only in the office for three. I can't deal. The light is that I just need to suck it up until January when I am hopefully changing jobs.

My dog who loves my husband best decided last night and this morning that he must be at my side. It is freaking me out a little. He is a weirdo at least he is a cute weirdo. I should probably save this for a flameful but this morning I laid in bed with him and gave him pets and told him he would always be my first born son and he just looked at me and wagged his tail. Dogs are the best even when they prefer your husband 95% of the time.
I've been staying up too late all week, so I'm relying on more caffeine that usual. I can't wait until the weekend because we don't have many plans, but I have to clean my house because it is a mess.
Kallie is being a little asshole today. lol It's like she wants to get in trouble. Coco is just watching her, but Kallie wants to climb everything, and she has a little gleam in her eye that she is looking for trouble. lol

My commute is so awful. It's exactly like that scene in Office Space. Combined with people who don't know what lane they need to be in so they straddle the lanes until they can make up their fucking mind.
The road I take to work is windy and narrow. Lots of people drive on it with SUVs, no problem. You stay in your lane and you're fine. Apparently today, everyone was like "OMG THE LANES ARE NARROW LET ME USE THE OTHER LANE AS WELL" The only problem is that OTHER CARS ARE IN THAT FUCKING LANE. LAW OF PHYSICS MEANS YOU CANNOT OCCUPY THAT SPACE TOO, ASSHOLE. MOVE THE FUCK OVER OR USE ANOTHER ROAD.
And don't get me started on the people that drive on a 2 lane road 15 miles below the speed limit and seem oblivious to the fact that there are 2342 cars up their ass. LOOK IN YOUR REAR VIEW MIRROR. IF THERE IS A LONG LINE OF CARS TWO INCHES FROM YOUR BUMPER, YOU MIGHT BE THE FUCKING PROBLEM.
Nothing gets me worked up like my morning commute.
This is why DH generally drives on our commute. I get ragey anyway, but at least I'm not operating heavy machinery, lol.
H and I are kind of struggling right now financially because I was off of work for foot surgery for 6 weeks and my paychecks were total shit compared to then. They also forgot to take out my medical insurance, like they said they would, so my checks now are getting hit harder to make up for it. I am going back to school, and had a decent amount of "left over" financial aid. The school said it would take 2-3 months to receive the refund check, so I filled out an application to receive it early, to help pay for medical bills and just get us back on track. I called today to find out if it was approved, and it wasn't this week, they said to call back next week. I currently have a call in and waiting for a call back from the head of financial aid to find out what happened and why I wasn't approved this week. I am beyond stressing out over this. I really don't want to ask my family for money, but it is looking like I might have to, and I feel like shit just thinking about it. I am at least hoping I can get my mom to pick up my prescriptions but even that I hate asking for. Ugh. I really want to crawl into a hole right about now.
