So the night before last Matilda came home from daycare and was a bit subdued/tired, very unlike her. Then she vomited all over herself and her high chair as I was about to give her a snack in hopes of perking her up. So of course, no snack instead she had pedialyte for dinner. She perked up after the vomiting, had a nice bath, and then went to bed early.
The next day hubby took her to daycare, told them she vomited and they would call if it happened again. She didn't have a fever and was in great spirits.
Yesterday she was fine all day, we went to BILs for dinner, she ate as normal, was in great form etc.
Then H called me this morning to say when she woke up she was covered in vomit. She hadn't even made a sound or cried?! this really freaks me out. If she is still asleep at 7 when I leave the house I don't go in because that would wake her up. So obviously at some point in the night she vomited and made no noise at all.
What sort of thing would cause two random vomiting episodes two days apart? He gave her a bath and is bringing her in to daycare and telling them, since she has no fever or other symptoms besides randomly vomiting they will probably take her and tell him they will call if she gets a fever or vomits again.
Anyway I don't know what the heck is going on. Why would she be vomiting, then hold down food for a whole day+, then randomly vomit again? aaaah

This happened to us last week!!!!!!!
DS vomited once in his sleep on Tuesday night, Wednesday night and then wait for it...Friday night. So far it hasn't happened again. Same as yours...no fever, no diarrhea, fine during the day.
My theory is that he was having some kind of nasal drainage that was causing him to gag. I took him to the doctor on Saturday and they found nothing wrong with him.
No, at daycare they always feed similar, bland type things. And for dinner last night she had some hamburger with a bun and ketchup, corn and some strawberries and ice cream. She has had all these things before.
This is how Jackson's was last week. Vomited overnight, and once in the morning three days in a row. He was in great spirits during the day. It was a virus I think, but I also think he had some nasal drainage, because his tastes for certain foods was gone. Yesterday was the first day in a week he acted normal all day. Hopefully m gets better quick!
Should she not be in daycare I wonder? Ugh daycare guilt is terrible. But I simply don't have enough days to take off when they are willing to take her, I use enough days when they won't take her! They have their rules, if she goes home with a fever she can't come in the next day etc. But if they will take her does that make it ok?!

ugh.
I went through this, too. We still sent him even though I felt bad about it. I hate making that decision.But...he was fine during the day. And, no other kids were sick nor was DD, so it couldn't have been a virus. Our episodes happened at about 11pm each night, and then he would sleep until we woke him and and woke up fine, so that was our measuring stick.

We had this happen with Nick ... I think it was just a random bug and us storming into his room when we heard a weird noise on the monitor (him vomiting) made it worse because we woke him up. He still went to daycare and I think it was just a random bug.
