I'm on antibiotics for the fourth time since spring. The worst symptoms are the blinding sinus pressure/headache and constant nausea. It seems like no matter what I do they keep coming back. I'm taking a daily allergy med, using rx nasal spray daily, staying indoors. I asked my doctor what I could do to prevent these and he said any time the kids bring home any kind of cold, this will likely be what happens. I'm so tired of feeling like I'm going to puke that I could cry.

I went to see one about my snoring and chronic sinus pain. We ran a whole bunch of tests, and it turns out that I have a deviated septum and my sinuses are blocked.
Tomorrow I get it all fixed, and I'm looking forward to breathe through my nose not having sinus congestion and headaches, because at this point I don't know what it's like to not have them.
Did you do any allergy testing or just give it a shot to see if it helped? How long did it take to make a difference for you? I am desperate and will try anything at this point.

It has almost been one year since I have cut out dairy. I haven't had a sinus infection at all! I have had sinus headaches, colds and whatnot. But they never turned into an infection.
Prior to that I went to an ENT and it turns out that when they took out my tonsils and adenoids back in the 3rd grade something weird happened, my adenoids grew back and were covering up the entrance to my nose. The ENT was surprised I could even breathe.

I just gave it a shot. I was like, I take antibiotics at least every 12 weeks, without fail. I'm gonna stop eating dairy and if I make it 12 weeks without antibiotics, I'll take this very seriously under consideration as a lifestyle choice.
Within 2 weeks I was like HOLY SHIT IS THIS WHAT BREATHING THROUGH YOUR NOSE IS LIKE?!
That was 2 years ago. Never looked back. I cheat occasionally, on holidays and such. I pay for it, but I haven't been on any antibiotics since the day I quit
