I think I might have brought this up once before, but just humour me again please.
When Wy gets mad, he bangs his head. If he is in his stroller or highchair, he bangs it back. But if he is loose and gets mad at something, he bangs his head on it.
This is by far the most frustrating/ embarrassing thing he does.
My kid does too. He bangs if he's mad, he bangs to flirt and show off, he bangs for laughs... Poor guy's not going to he working with many brain cells soon.

X does the same thing. If he gets mad like if I take something away or say no, he bangs his head. He will either go on all fours and bang his forhead on the floor or he lies on his back and bangs the back of his head. Then he says "booboo" and asks for a kiss. I try to ignore the behaviour so he stops doing it but it's not working.

Is Wy very verbal yet? A lot of kids who aren't as verbal do this because they cannot communicate that they are frustrated. Lou will not bang his head but he will smack himself in the face when he is overly tired or frustrated.

AWWWWWWWW... (I laughed more than I should have reading this)

H was a motor mouth and did it. She has a very short fuse!

Jack also smacks himself in the face. His preferred method of expressing his frustration, however, is to throw toys at us from close range. We need mohr wordz up in here for sure.

Fiona does this when I'm in the kitchen (they're locked out of the kitchen) and I'm not moving fast enough for her. She'll stand with her back against the wall and just bang her head back over and over again. Linus looked at her like she was crazy when she first started doing it, but now he thinks it's some hilarious game and stands there and does it with her now. Sigh...
My melon headed kid likes to bang his head on stuff even when he isn't mad..... Thankfully he seems to be hard headed.
Yep, this. In fact, Colin particularly enjoys banging his head when he's not mad. It's weird and if I tell him to stop he grins and does it more. Kids are weird, yo.

Both boys I babysit do this. They do it when mad or sad. Luckily, their mom has gotten them to where they run to their room and bang their heads on the mattress, or it might make me crazy. Zoe used to bang her head on the walls when frustrated, but hasn't in a long time.

Lexi does this too and it makes her more mad when I laugh at her. She's gotten quite the personality.

Dylan used to do this. He has since grown out of it but if he would get mad or frustrated and wasn't near something he could bang his head on, he would literally get up and go over to the wall to bang his head.

OMG yesterday when I picked DD up from daycare. She see's her sippy cup and OMG-I-NEED-IT-RIGHT-THIS-SECOND!!. It was empty so I wanted to fill it up with water for her.
NOPE, I took too long. She ran full speed into a closet door, head first, and had a grand meltdown.
Then she cried becuase it hurt, and was all "mamaaaaaa, boo boo".
