Someone else was asking this before, I think it was TrudyCampbell? I need to get off my lazy ass and call the OB one of these days. My question is... I didn't ovulate til CD52... so should I tell them my real LMP, which was Jul 1 and let the dating u/s determine my due date OR should I just lie to say my LMP is whatever two weeks before O date? It was annoying before when I was pregnant with Evan because there was a week difference between their calculation (based on LMP) and my calculation based on O date. I know a week was no big deal but it was confusing because I was like is my baby the size of a lemon or is it really the size of an lime!?

I lied and told them a date 2 weeks before I O'd so it would match with the DD that FF gave me. But.... telling them the truth will get you an earlier u/s!

In this case I'd tell the truth. It's to your advantage that your period was so long ago because you could be so far along if you had ovulated on time. i think if you tell the truth you'll get an u/s on the spot.
yes tell them about your crazy ovulation and get a dating u/s. Apparently at 8ish weeks dating u/s are extremely accurate.
Mine was saying oh lets just go by LMP but I insisted- NO NO NO ultrasound. ultrasound! But I was induced at 42 weeks with Matilda so I need all the time I can get. I figure even 4-5 days could save me from the evil pitocin!

I would tell the truth on when your Lmp was. I didn't have a period when I went off birth control with Lydia and my Lmp was way off of what the actual due date was. So they did a dating ultrasound and it was accurate.
I would lie and to make your due date later. Because, if they see a blob when they are expecting a baby on an ultrasound, they may needlessly freak out and make you stress and go through unnecessary tests.
