Yes we are happy. Layla is the sweetest baby and Serena is a good girl even though she wears down my patience with her constant chatter and occasional sass, so another girl wouldn't be so bad.
I had mixed feelings on the way home though. It's dumb but I felt a little guilty about it being a girl which is silly because I don't control the gender. Deep down I wanted H to have a son. I think I'm tired this afternoon because reality is setting in that I really am having a third and I'm wondering how I will give all three equal attention.

Oh, I didn't see the update! Congrats on your baby girl! Your other two are super cute, so I know this one will follow in her older sister's footsteps!
I had 3 girls and decided to try one more time for a son... my husband was an only boy in a family of 4 sisters and there were only 2 male "his last name" so we were sort of pressured into trying again....
And it was a BOYYY!! My baby boy who is now 20. LOL
Funny though, I have twin sisters 9 years younger than me. One has 3 girls and the other has 3 boys. They both gave up after 3.
DH had said before even if this one is a girl we are done, but who knows now if he'd want to give it another shot. This was a surprise pregnancy and I was worried in the beginning but I love pregnancy and feeling that miracle of life growing inside. However I don't know if trying for a boy would be wise and I could be spreading myself too thin. The thought of 4 kids scares me lol.
I understand that Tiny but the way I felt was the transition from 1 to 2 was the absolute BIGGEST! After 3, what's one more? LOL And my youngest daughter had just started kindergarden so he got me all to himself as an infant.
Things always have a way of working themselves out and lastly, niether of my sisters have any regrets with the 3 girls and 3 boys. <3
Congrats! I have three girls and love it! I'd love a 4th myself but I'd actually really like another girl rather then a boy at this point. The house is all things girly, adding boy stuff too would make it insane with stuff
Lol yes that is what I have heard also-that the transition from 1 -2 is hard but it gets easier as you add more. There's a lot of factors to consider though like space, finances, etc. Plus having children is having little pieces of your heart walking around. More stress, worry and mommy guilt.
