I am sexually attracted to a coworker. There has been mild flirtation between the two of us for the last few months, and last night he started texting me. The texting was pretty innocent, just small talk, but the fact that I continued the conversation for 2+ hours worries me.

Look I am not going to rip into you yet. Crushes are fine it is easy to fantasize about someone you can make out to be perfect because you don't have to deal with everyday life with them. However, you know that this is wrong and you are crossing a line texting even innocently for that long. Shut that shit down and spend two hours hanging out with your husband. Don't make a big deal out of it with your coworker just don't engage him anymore unless it is completely work related.

I would be hurt if the situation were reversed and I found out my husband was talking to a female coworker about things that weren't related to work. I don't know why I continued the conversation as long as I did or what I expected to happen.

No, I didn't delete the texts, but I'm sure if he saw them he would want an explanation that I don't have.
