I'm so excited! we finally agreed on a price today. We only ended up about 2k over our budget and I got them to throw in their big 9 piece dining room set since they didn't come down much. Our counter height table sucks with kids and I don't want to put a table that fits all 5 of us in the eat in kitchen part. Anyhow, in theory we're supposed to close on our house on the 15th in the morning and the new house on the 15th in the afternoon. We have 3 days to get out of ours and get possession on the new house immediately so we'll have 2 1/2 days to get the new house cleaned up and moved into. No living with the inlaws or moving twice!! Just some AW pics. The playset stays too so that's awesome!
THAT IS AWESOME!! I lurked your other post and didn't have time to reply then, but I am so freaking happy for you that it worked out. What a weight off your shoulders! Congratulations!!

Thanks so much guys! Yes, the weight lifted is tremendous! There's soooo much to do now, but it's so much better! The kids were adorable in the yard. We don't have one here even though we live in the country. We have 4.5 acres now, but the horses are on half of it and it's really narrow. So they both go different directions between the cornfields, the electric fences, and the 55mph road so I can't let them roam. When I let them loose in the yard they just looked at me like "are you sure?!?". Linus ran over to a far corner and sat down to read his book lol. He keeps asking for the "new house" so they'll be happy.
I'm so excited for you! Not just for the house but also that you don't have to stay with your in laws.
Ive been thinking about you and hope you don't mind me asking. Did you make a decision about your horse?
not at all! My parents apparently didn't take me seriously when I told them I had nowhere to move him. They have 4 acres and some mini horses and he was there for 10 yrs and just didn't want to keep him there. So when they realized I was serious they played white knight and came rushing in to save him. He probably still doesn't have long, but he'll be happy there, is used to it, and I don't have to make the big decision before I'm ready. I just need to scramble to get it ready for him there now though!
