If this is anything like 9 to 5 on TN, can we get a sub-board specific to teachers? Seemed there were SO many threads about teaching that were not relevant to anyone else.

I think this is a fantastic idea. I did email the Nest at one time to ask about this. I know others did as well. They said only if there was sufficient interest..and we all know how they listen to their users.

I'd love a board for self employed/work at home moms (and dads too) I always wanted to request it on the nest but never did. I didn't really feel like I belonged in working mom since they r all ft out of the house with 50+ hrs per wk in daycare and I didn't really relate to that and then there was stay at home mom and while that was all good for a few yrs, I'm a self emoyed work from home 90% of the time (it is mainly part time) but I don't have bosses or many co workers only a handful so I would live a relevant board/subboard for mee!! Alll about mee!!! Jk but really anyone else think this is something that can happen and would be somewhat active? Maybe I'll ask in other areas too, try to drum up some support

I would love to have a self employed/work at home Mom's board. I do currently hold a regular 9-5 office job and a self employed job evenings/weekends. Right now we're going through the adoption process and as soon as we have a child my day job is out the window so I can stay home to raise our child and continue the self employed side of my life

I don't know if a sub-board is really necessary, this board was low traffic on the nest and so far low traffic here... sub-boards might splinter what few posts it does get. I don't see why self-employment or teacher questions can't be asked on this board?
