Yes, I judge people especially men that do not wear their rings. And yes, I believe people behave differently when they don't have their rings on. I've seen it many many times with EXH's POS friends. He had 2-3 of them that always cheated on their wives. It made me feel horrible to be around them.

I used to but not anymore. A lot of men's jobs can be in construction or factory where if their finger gets caught - it would be a serioyus injury or immediate amputation of the finger.

It depends on the reason of not wearing it. If it's because they are allergic to it or it interferes with their job, fine. If they don't want to advertise that they are married--not so much.

DH wears his mayyyybe 3 times a year, and it really doesn't bother me. His father never wears his, and DH has never worn jewelry and works with his hands all do so it isn't comfortable or safe for him and I understand that. It really is just a symbol, and I don't even worry about how he acts when he's away from me with no ring... I trust that he's the same person with me or without.
I have taken OFF my ring mayyyybe 3 times a year since we've been married, but I LOVE my ring and hate being without it.

I don't judge. My dad never really wore his ring, so I guess I assumed that was normal.
I honestly didn't think hubby would wear his ring at all after we got married, but he's surprised me and wear's it everyday. Some days I forget mine, but he never forgets his.

We also hardly ever sleep in the same bed, so I guess some people would say that we're "not in love". Actually, people have said that. We are just very serious about our sleep!

We barely ever sleep in the same bed, either. I usually sleep with the dog in the big bed, and hubby will sleep on the couch or the pullout in the guest room.
Sometimes we fight over who gets to sleep on the couch because it's SO comfortable. Ha!

I don't judge. My dad has never worn his ring. At least not in my lifetime. Neither he nor my brother can safely wear one for their job. BIL has problems with his fingers swelling, so he doesn't wear his.
H has never been a jewelry person, but I got him a school ring his last semester of college and he got used to wearing it, so now he rocks his school ring and wedding band.

MH doesn't wear his and never has. Cant wear ut to work. When we bought his ring he told me he wasn't going to wear it. He is not a jewelry person. Doesn't bother me.

No, I don't judge.
MH doesn't wear his, never has. Okay, fine, he might have worn it for the first month we were married. It's tungstun carbide, and kind of bulky, so he doesn't / cant wear it at work. He's not a jewelry person.. I only wish he would have decided prior to spending so much on his band that he wasn't actually going to wear it... could have spent more on mine ;-)
It might seem silly to some, but he wears a black rubber o-ring on his finger for his wedding band. At first I thought it was a little dumb, but he likes it, so I don't mind.

To each their own. I would be sad if DH didn't wear his. I wear mine all the time, minus when I am exercising with weights or riding a bike bc it bothers me.

I know this is going to be Earth shattering to some, but just because a man (or woman) wears a ring, cheating is possible. It's pretty amazing how something so small can be removed and stuck in a pocket/purse/etc.
M lost about 60 lbs right after our wedding and his ring didn't fit anymore. He absolutely refused to trade it in for a smaller ring because THAT was the one we got married with - not some look alike. It took me almost four years, but I finally convinced him that it'd be okay to buy a second ring since HE complained about not having one to wear, but I never pushed him to wear one.
The idea that a person who doesn't wear a ring is more likely to cheat really pisses me off. Between the fact that M didn't wear one for a while and I usually forgot to put mine back on after a run, I used to get a lot of snide comments from coworkers (one in particular) about the state of my relationship. Not okay.
I agree that it depends on why he is not wearing a ring. If it's to have a free pass to do whatever, then yes, I judge. If I see someone I know who is married, I assume that it's because of their job or not being a jewelry guy, and not that they are intending to cheat.
I honestly didn't honestly expect my H to wear one when we got married (and it spent 90% of our honeymoon on my thumb, instead of his finger), but he wears it all the time now, and actually has a more prominent tan line from it then I do with mine. He'll only take his off now when he is playing soccer.

I have forgotten to put mine on after taking a shower in the morning a few times and when I get to work I get the side eye, coworker asking if everything is ok. I have a simple band that I sometimes only wear and people are all over that like hot cakes. Where is your wedding ring? Is everything ok? Hello - it's still a wedding band!
I guess I'm more bothered and judgmental about it than I should be. I don't think all ring-less people are cheaters by any means.
I just felt so awful for these women when I would see their husbands wear their rings around them until it was time to go out and hit the bars. The wives would go home to be with their kids, the rings would come off, and the inappropriate behaviors would begin.
Eh, I think there are acceptable reasons for not wearing your rings.
My sister & BIL are both in the medical field (PA & Dr) so they don't wear their rings very often. They are still committed, in love and cheating wouldn't occur to them.
My twin sister's H is a mechanic and broke his first wedding band within a few months of their marriage so he goes without his ring quite often as well. They've only been married 13 months and are very happy.
I am always forgetting mine when I take if off to do stuff, but it has never bothered H at all and I never once think about cheating. I actually feel naked with out it. LOL
