There used to be 5-6 deals/day and they'd vary between services (housecleaning etc.), spa stuff, food, and events/activities. Now there's 1-2 a day and they aren't appealing at all. No, I don't want $25 worth of hot dogs or Nickelback tickets.
My hopes of getting discounted teeth whitening are dwindling.
I've been keeping an eye out for a house cleaning one... and they really haven't had much. Most of the services are for like laser hair removal or full on trips. I WANT A CLEAN HOUSE, GROUPON!
I don't even have a local Groupon. If I want local deals, I have to look on BargainBee.com, or worse, ePonToday.com. "ePon" just makes me think of internet tampons or something.
The Boston one hasn't been great lately, but I live near another 'large' city in MA and those have been great actually! Lots of date night type ones We are going to a BYOB painting class with friends in a few weeks thanks to Groupon.

Groupon has always been "Look at what you could save on any of these expensive things that you don't give a crap about!" in my city. This post made me check, which I found out that I still don't give a crap about what they offer.
I haven't checked groupon in a while but just did and OMG one in my area is for laser toenail fungus removal.
Ewwww!!
Groupon in my area has been okay, but I'm mostly getting spa services and not as much adventure-related activities as they used to, like kayaking. Although I did just get an 80 minute massage for $49.
