How is everyone doing? I'm hanging in there. 3 1/2 weeks to go! Had the 36 week sonogram and things were so so. The good, everything looks normal and they estimated the weight to be 6lb 7oz. This is what really matters. The bad, still sitting breech. I've been trying every trick since then to get the baby to flip. This includes lying upside down playing music on the lower half of my abdomen and putting ice on the top if my abdomen! Workouts are ok. Swimming feels the best and I'm still doing light lifting. Running has been far and few between but only because my foots been hurting. Hope everyone else is doing well. Excited to hear updates!

You're so close hannahb ! That's awesoem you've still been running. You still have some time, I wouldn't be too freaked out that the baby hasn't flipped yet.
I'm hanging in there. We did a ton of walking on our vacation, and I felt good. Knock on wood I haven't had any swelling yet, not even during the long flight. I was really surprised.
Hopefully I can keep doing cardio and weights until the end, although running is pretty much out of the question. I got my Boston Marathon confirmation last week, so bouncing back for that is firmly in the back of my mind now too.

Feeling pretty good lately. I finally went back to the gym. Started lifting again, walking around my neighborhood a few times a week and trying to eat better.
We have an appt tomorrow, although I expect nothing exciting. Just a 26wk check up.

18 weeks and I am feeling good these days! Still running 3-4 miles a few times a week, lifting when I feel like it, and swimming once or twice a week too. At my last appoint I had only gained 2-3 pounds which surprised me because there is definitely a belly there and my running pace has definitely taken a huge hit. I'm waiting for the pounds to start packing on, I'm sure it will happen soon!
I started going to prenatal yoga a few weeks ago, too, and....meh. I have a few sessions that I need to use up so I'll probably continue to go until they're gone, but not sure if I'll keep it up after that. It's nice to stretch but it's not much of a workout and I feel like I could get the same benefit by doing a short DVD or online program at home. Also, there is a lot of chanting. I'm not big on chanting. I miss my hot power flow class!
Um, what else...we find out the sex in two weeks! Yay.
Glad to hear all is well with the H&F pregnant gals! You all sound ambitious & active to me. Maybe someday I can join in here too....I do worry I might be old & grey by the time it happens though.

We did ice & music also - it worked
Glad to hear there's a chance! Although if this kid is anything like me, it will be so stubborn it won't flip just to tick me off

17 weeks and about to get back on he running wagon. I have a 5k this weekend and am planning another in a month and going back to my running group. Yay! I have felt really good the whole time and really have no excuse for not working out, other than being pooped. Time to get back at it!
No longer a pregnant H&Fer, I had my baby last Sunday! Our little boy weighed in at 9 lbs and I was able to have the VBAC delivery that I wanted. It was no walk in the park, but the recovery has been better than my last, C-section, delivery. I'm going to wait a few more weeks before I attempt anything other than a brisk walk; I want to make sure everything is healed down below. My last run was at 36 weeks so hopefully I'm able to bounce back quickly. I would love to be able to participate in a local 5K in November.
DD is adapting to life as a big sister and we're learning how to juggle two little ones. It's a challenge to balance a toddler with an attitude with a newborn, but we're getting there

I am also no longer pregnant (thank you 8lb 6oz baby Jesus) but like to AW my cute baby so here you go!
AJ will be 10 weeks old tomorrow, holy shit. At his two month appointment yesterday he was measuring 86th%ile for weight and off the f'ing charts for head circumference and length-the current joke is that he has HIS dad's face but MY dad's build (tall and big boned with a big head, the latter of which was passed onto all three of his kids). Postbaby running is getting better...I'm up to 3-5 miles/run 3-4x/week, and if I stick to what I've tentatively planned I may actually have a 20 mile week this week so I'll take it. My pace is somewhere between what I was at prepregnancy and where I was when I quit running at 32 weeks, but is slowly getting better. Getting the Mirena put in at my 6 week pp appointment has caused no issues other than a week of heavy spotting starting a week after it was put in, so I'm wondering if it was just some residual pp bleeding that would have happened anyway. The hormones in the IUD have had no effect on my breastmilk supply thus far, which is awesome...and I don't have to worry about getting pg again! AJ is awesome but I'm perfectly happy to stick with one baby for a good long while
Can I join? I'm just newly pregnant. I am still running, but I didn't expect it to be this much effort so early! I'm used to running a 7:30-8:00 mile for training runs and it feeling pretty effortless. Now I'm huffing and puffing just trying to maintain an 8:30 - 9:00 pace and it's really throwing me for a loop! I feel like I just gave blood and can't get enough oxygen or something. I guess I better just get used to running feeling differently now!

My pace slowed by about a minute per mile almost immediately, too. Completely normal! My best advice is to leave the Garmin or whatever at home and just enjoy being out there.

My pace has slowed about a minute per mile as well, I still wear my garmin, but I switch screens now so it just shows what time it is

Haha, I said the exact same thing on here ~1 month ago. It was actually one of the first symptoms that I actually noticed. My Dr. said basically the baby is taking your oxygen, and you get whatever is left. It was just bizarre to me that it was so noticeable so early on, when the baby is the size of an appleseed or something.
I noticed the same thing about my pace right off the bat. The only reason I was taking a test when I did was because I'd just gone off the pill and didn't know what my cycles were going to be like, hadn't started my period yet, and had two big drinking events coming up that night and a few days later and wanted to be able to drink without worry...I didn't actually think I was pregnant. That is, until I was walking up my driveway after my 10 mile run thinking "Gah, why was that so hard? It wasn't a new route or harder pace or warm weather or anything OH MY GOD HOLY FUCK MAYBE I REALLY AM PREGNANT!". Went inside, peed on the stick, took a shower, got out of the shower, and there were two lines clear as day. My pace did end up rebounding a little bit and I was able to keep my regular long run pace until 18-19 weeks so maybe yours will too?
