I think my one river birch has leaf blight

It's looking mighty sad. Leaves are yellowed, spotted and dropping.

Ugh. I'd been meaning to have someone come out and look at them anyway (we need to have some lower branches trimmed/removed) but we just can't afford it right now.

It's really bad too. I'd say it's lost about 30% of its foliage and the rest just looks miserable, all yellow and spotty.

Even worse, this tree usually provides a ton of shade for my big leaf hosta (the one by my roses). Hosta's looking pretty burned out now. I'm half tempted to set up a tent or something for it.
