While they're eating. Every so often he likes to eat the dog food, which I don't mind, but he won't leave the dogs alone when they're eating. He hasn't always done this, only since January or so.
Dakota doesn't seem to mind (I do) but Jasper has started growling at him when Rosco rubs on him while he eats or tries to eat the food while Jasper is - and quite frankly I think Jasper will kick his furry butt if it continues. Rosco doesn't get the "warning growl". Jasper doesn't do this to Dakota, but she also waits her turn and isn't up his butt.
Any ideas how to keep Rosco away at least while the dogs are eating?
My cousin's cat does that. It's hilarious. He's the skinniest cat you've ever seen, with these long legs and a scrawny tail - totally gangly. And he sits right beside the dog's dish and stares at the dog and twitches that scrawny tail. And the dog, the big, tough pittie, lays on the floor, a few feet away, occasionally approaching the bowl only to be growled at by Skinny Cat. Poor pittie - he doesn't know he's super scary and dangerous. So, he just lays there and waits for Skinny cat to let him eat.
It's my favorite thing about visiting there - I could sit an watch for hours. Cats are assholes.
