First, that unknown soldier in #13 is hot. Second, the my sister had, in the 90s, the exact same "turtle shell", which is a negative pressure ventilator (draws down the diaphragm externally with vacuum like pressure to manually expand the lungs). She has a rare breathing disorder in which she would stop breathing many times per night in her sleep and not breath again on her own. (She's fine now).
I think the Prohibition one with the waterfalls of alcohol is super neat. Was that just the easiest way to get rid of it? Pour it out the windows and let it drain down the gutters?
Does anyone else wonder if that doll that the little girl was comforting was actually a real baby....maybe a sibling. The proportion is unreal. Gave me chills.
The "beautiful suicide" picture has always been a favorite of mine, in a morbid way. There's been controversy about whether it was staged or not because she looks so perfect without a hair out of place. Sad but beautiful.

I was wondering that when I saw it. No blood? At all? And then I felt really weird about staring at a dead body at work...

That kids for sale one... the picture looks so tragic and circumstantial, but the story behind it, maaan, what a horrible fucking woman. And where are those kids' father?

pretty much. let the police hack into the barrels with hatchets and then it just spills away, no unnecessary work and safer then trying to transport and store it. Gangsters ddin't run booze for the fun of it, there was major momey in it. Enough that a cop going dirty was a real risk and common. no need to make it worse by holding onto the booze longer than neccessary.
