I took Logan to the YMCA. He played in the play room. Loved it. I decided to get a membership. He didn't want to stay at the play room anymore. Four fucking months went by before I gave up and cancelled. $*$*Flush*$*$

I have moments where I consider a membership, and I had a couple of month-long Groupons that I used on Mat Leave a year and a half ago...but I don't know that I can pick up an exhausted 2 year old from DC and drop him off at their childcare at the gym with any success. And I'd feel guilty. DH really needs to not work shifts.
G loves the YMCA child watch, but if I DARE to take a yoga class she shits right in the middle of it, when I'm trying to be all zen. So naturally every time I'm in yoga I'm all twitchy waiting for the babysitter to come get me while my ass is in the air.

lol flush.
WHen C was small, I bought a Bob jogging stroller - which she absolutely hated. Running with the iPod cranked to "ear damage" while still watching her get red and flail through the little plastic window was NOT relaxing.
It was a giant waste of money until, really, last year. Now she'll sit in it and just enjoy the view while I run. She's 4.

Same thing happened to me. Oh and the gym would call me for diaper changes. DD was like 4 months old and always fucking pissing. Damn kid...
Don't go out and buy a treadmill thinking you'll work out when they nap. If you are anything like me, you'll just stare at the treadmill enjoying the peace that has overcome the house while watching reruns of Grey's.

I've been there. When J first came home, I LOVED my two hour workouts, and then I'd take him into the pool to expend another hour. It mad the day so much more doable.
Is there anything you can think of that might make the daycare more enjoyable for you son?
