Thankful for my programmable rice cooker for steel cut oats in the morning. I have them nearly every day and it is so nice to come home to breakfast ready.
Thankful for the feeling that I am where I am supposed to be right now. Lots of flux, but at the end of the day I go to bed happy (most of the time).
I'm thankful for the Benadryl induced sleep coma that allowed me to wake up feeling super refreshed (even though I skipped the gym this morning). My allergies aren't too bad today either!
I'm thankful for the new gym that I found that is super cheap and has everything I need to get a good sweat on.
I am so glad it's thankful Thursday because I woke up a raging maniac this morning and a mile into my run was so thankful. I remembered why I loved running so much- among other things, it helps me to keep my sanity, especially this time of year in the industry I work in.
I am so thankful for running and the sanity it brings my and the quiet it allows my soul. I am thankful for my faith. I am thankful that I get to see my best friend TONIGHT! Texas here I come!!

I am thankful that the Pittsburgh Great Race that I have been so excited about for months IS FINALLY HERE!!!! I am seriously beside myself with giddiness to run through the city that I love. And the weekend is going to be extra fun because it just so happens that there are family events going on. One more short run tonight, and my weekend begins! (Do I seem just a bit excited?)
I'm thankful for so many running things! I'm thankful I got into Boston! I'm thankful I am having no Achilles pain at all anymore. This Spring and even this Summer I was worried I'd have nagging discomfort forever. I'm thankful my running paces have been dropping like crazy. I'm thankful for youth cross country and the kids awesome coaches. They are so proud of themselves post run, and DD1 in particular loves it. She is such a hard worker, and I love that she has a sport where she sees the results pay off. She may not be the fastest, but she beams when she gets a PR. So cool.

I'm thankful in advance for the three days I'm going to spend laying around doing nothing this weekend. Granted I'll be recovering from having my tubes ties but it's a great excuse not to get out of my pjs all weekend. Except to put on clean pjs of course.

I'm thankful for my Bob duallie stroller and for my slow cooker; both make my life way easier. I'm also thankful for the positivity in the weekly Thankful Thursday posts and the reminder to be more thankful.
jene - I must have spaced out and missed the announcement, but congrats!

No announcement, I am still very early (7 weeks) but I saw the heartbeat last week and have been dying to tell you guys.

Eeeeeep! How are you feeling?!?!
So far, aside from needing to eat immediately when I first wake up, no issues. My doc gave me the ok to run the marathon since I had already completed a large portion of my training. Obviously I won't be breaking any speed records, but I am just thankful that they are open to it. I just need to be able to maintain a pace that I can still have a conversation, and she is ok with that.

I am thankful I get to hang out with my friends this weekend! I am thankful I feel almost normal today so I hope I don't fail horribly practicing running with my chiro today, which I'm also really excited about because I have so many questions!!
I am thankful for my Marathon Mania Monday support group that helped get me out of my funk.
I am thankful for what my body has been putting up with, and reacting positively instead of retaliating.
I am thankful for my running sherpa, er, husband, who is in fact my running sherpa
And I'm totally thankful that Brooks is doing their Run Happy Island at our Fleet Feet, so I can score some new shoes and hopefully hang out with naldridge today!
Hooray! I am thankful for the beautiful weather so I can run to my mailbox and pretend like I am a runner when I show up at Fleet Feet tonight with @vtcupcake.
I am also thankful for all my material crap. Even though it is ALL OVER THE PLACE and driving me crazy. I know I have a lot more than others and am glad to have it, even if it needs to GO TO GOODWILL.
'Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body. But rather, to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, screaming 'Woohoo! What a ride!' So every day is a holiday and every meal a feast."
I am thankful AJ slept in his crib from 8p-6a last night! Of that 10, I slept 6 consecutively and feel like a new woman. I wish I'd started crib bootcamp earlier-he's been sleeping in his rock n play or on one of us at night (bad, I know but he's a great snuggler ) but I go back to work in two weeks and need to start getting better sleep again.
