My race day is almost here and I am super excited. I am doing a local half tomorrow (Akron Half (Ohio)) and hoping to improve to finish under 2:05. I am going to the expo in a little bit but I'm kinda nervous already for the race!! Hydrating and over-analyzing the hour by hour weather...
I have a 5k. No specific goal, but hoping for some sort of PR. Since the last one I raced was 1 1/2 yrs ago (lol) that shouldn't be a problem. I'm just doing it to support a friend of a friend for a special cause, and I have 22 miles on Sunday, so we shall see.
Me! 30k trail run. It's technically the step down week between my two 20 milers, but i dropped the midweek mileage to even it out. Running w/my BFF so we'll keep a conversational pace while catching up! haven't seen her in a few months.

There's a 5K right by my house tomorrow morning. I'm actually not even registered but may do it last minute. It's my current PR race, but it was in November last year (WAY lower temps). I don't know why they moved it earlier this year and it definitely won't be a PR, but I can hardly resist a race I can get to in 1 minute

I am doing my first duathlon on Sunday - 2/9/2; my goal is to finish, I have very low expectations of my time. It is supposed to be raining starting Saturday afternoon, I am hoping the storm will push through by race start.
I'm doing a Color Run with friends. I have not decided what I'm doing. I may just walk it and do my run later, because I don't want to get my running shoes stained! The perils of a runner. ;-)
I'm hoping to! There's a semi-local 10K tomorrow (billed as a tune-up for Twin Cities Marathon next weekend) that I'm hoping to run. It's about the only 10K I could find this fall remotely close. And... They say the prizes for each age group are homemade baked good. Um, YES! Last year's results show only about 50 finishers so I have a shot.
If we're still harvesting corn silage tomorrow or covering the pile then I'll miss it. We're getting closer to done so I'm hoping... :-)

Sunday I am running a 6.5 mile leg of a 50 mile "ocean to bay" relay. My first time running this distance as I usually just do 5k. Excited and nervous but ready for it!
I'm doing a 10 miler on Sunday. I'm going to try running this at goal HM pace. We'll see how close I can get. My boyfriend (McMillian) has been whispering sweet nothings in my ear about running fast
