How long is your child's recess? And what grade are they in

Kindergarten--20 minutes.

First - 20 minute AM recess and lunch is 50 minutes

20 minutes for recess and 20 minutes for lunch. They need more time for both. They often do get a second recess.

Kindergarten - 30 minutes. Sometimes they have two.  They also have gym outside during nice weather.

They can earn another 15 or 20 minute recess later in the day.

OMG, that is no time at all!  It takes my dd about 10 minutes to get her lunch/milk etc., I couldn't imagine her having only 5 minutes to eat it!

D said lunch was long enough, but recess was too short.  I remember a long recess as a kid.

Does he get a second recess? Especially in K, and it being all full day now, I would think they'd need another recess daily.

I am shocked at how short DD1's lunch is - 15 minutes! She always comes home with half her sandwich and all of her fruit untouched.

 I don't know I was looking through the school directory last night and saw the lunch and recess schedule and it only listed one, but I might ask the teacher.

15 min morning recess between literacy and math. Then 30 min recess followed by a 30 minute lunch followed by a 30 minute quiet time. Then there's a 15 minute afternoon recess between specials and social sciences.
