Recommend a marathon in the NW?

Ok so I might have enjoyed my marathon experience enough to want to sign up for another one. I'd like to do one late spring/early summer next year. I live in MT so things are few and far between here. Anyone done one somewhere in this area of the country they enjoyed? I just started looking, but personal recs are always awesome!

ETA: Like WA, OR, ID, WY, MT, even Dakotas maybe. I told my H I want to be a 50-stater maybe...someday!

Whidbey Island marathon is $40 until November 3. The race is sometime in April.

I looked at Whidbey Island earlier. That may have been one I mentally bookmarked as a possibility. Now I like it even better!

My only hangup with the RnR Seattle is the price......and only because I may get knocked up before the race and have to forgo it. We are actively pursuing fertility treatments so....lol

Not necessarily opposed to CA, but trying keep it within a day of driving since we'd probably just make a weekend of it.

Not exactly NW, but far Eastern North Dakota. :-) Anyway, Fargo Marathon in May! It was my first & it's an awesome atmosphere w/ tons of community support. Love this race. Also very reasonable for race fee, hotels, etc.

I was the one who posted Whidbey Island. I think that one would be so fun! But be prepared for the possibility of inclement weather. That would be the only downside. I also have a bunch of friends doing the Vancouver (WA) Marathon. It's June 15th. Friends who have done it really enjoyed it.

I somehow missed that post. I'm definitely going to look into it. I know I obsessed over rain for my race last week, but now that I've done that distance I don't think it would worry me as much now.

I ran a 10k in 18 degree weather last Nov. I felt pretty dedicated to running after doing that. lol
