I'm sorry I think you have made the right decision, difficult as it is. I'm glad you have family to lean on. Huge hugs, and no, it's never too early to start drinking.

I liked this, but not in a 'yay, your H is a jerk!' way, but because I'm glad you are making a smart decision. I can't imagine that was going to get better.
I'm sorry you're dealing with this, though. Drink up, for sure!

I was wondering what you had decided to do. I am so sorry you are having to deal with this. Did your H give you any grief when he found out you were leaving?

I'm really sorry you're going through this and that your husband did that to you. But I'm also really, really happy for you that you drew that line in the sand, and that you stood your ground. I honestly don't know how a marriage would ever even recover from such a blatantly disrespectful action. I know you have some hard days ahead of you, but even on your darkest day, I hope you will be able to remember just how much better off you are/will be where you're going. Whereever that is. Because, man, your husband is some kind of fucked up.

He did. He actually has been really mean and nasty the last two days.

Huge hugs, vaba - you definitely made the right decision, hard as it must have been. Your update about your H being mean and nasty further proves what an ace decision it was to leave him.
