Really well this week. We went leaf-peeping yesterday, our only cost was gas and groceries for a picnic. $25 in gas and $15 in groceries and a coffee stop.
Today we stayed in all day. DH went out to get a dozen eggs, maybe $3? I orded TP in Amazon, $21.

About average. I still need to get gas in my car so will probably add another $50 since I didn't feel like going out to get it today.
Friday - $32 Chinese food for dinner
Saturday - $5 for ice cream - $40 gas for DH's car - $61 for brake pads and rotors (used $400 in cc points for the balance) - $30 for stuff at CVS (used about $20 in coupons)
Not too bad considering I went shopping with MIL at the nearby outlet. It's teeny tiny but I went into stores that I never knew had clothes that looked decent on me. AND it was perfect weather for top down and MIL fully enjoyed the cars, um, power haha. So:
$50 gas $25 Bed Bath & Beyond (shower curtain) $16 Walmart (shower liner and hooks) $435 Ann Taylor (got 2 suits...jacket, pants, and skirt each. And a pair of shorts for $10!) $110 BCBG (cute white flowy dress...don't know when I'll ever get to wear it haha) $25 American Eagle (very soft jeans that I don't have to hem! I hate being short.) $50 dinner
Friday: $150 for dinner out with a friend. My treat for her birthday. Saturday: $95 groceries for the week $45ish cash at an Italian festival. $10 was for admission, the rest food. NOM NOM Sunday: $0
Trying for #3; FET 8/18 -- BFN. Leaving things up to chance for now... After three years, three IVFs, and two FETs, we finally have our miracle babIES!
Travelling is not very MM. I'm not sure how much we spent overall the biggest splurge was dinner Friday night at Restaraunt Gordon Ramsay about $500 for the 2 of us. Having a second bottle of wine there was good but sent the bill a little over what we had budgeted.
Pretty good, considering all these purchases were planned for!
Friday: $35 gas Saturday: $40 on pants for DD, $38 for dress and leggings for me Sunday: $20 celebratory dinner for the Redskins win (which was enough for leftovers for lunch today! score!)
Saturday: cousin's baby's birthday party in CT. Wine -- $18. Train ticket, $9 (never collected though so it can be used again). Cousin's company apparently paid for my car service home.
Sunday: Derm appointment -- copay and prescription, $70. Croissant at Ceci-Cela, $2. Baguette at Balthazar, $3.
So just about $135 for me!
But my husband is in Denver with his friends so I'd imagine the weekend was an MM trainwreck overall.
Saturday: $0. Stayed in watching football and relaxing all day. A friend brought over pizza for dinner.
Sunday: $50 offering at church, $120 on groceries, $35 toy cash register for niece's birthday, $150 donation to a medical clinic for the working poor/uninsured.
Saturday: $40ish on gas $167 on groceries, beer and wine (mostly beer and wine... I bought 12 bottles of wine because there's a 10% discount per bottle if you do that)
Sunday: $51.48 on baby stuff and misc. household crap at Target $233.71 on a pair of Frye Melissa Button back zip boots which is actually an awesome deal ($265 and I used a $50 gift card)
Friday: Groceries, $150 - $30 over budget but that included a few household items, a gift, and a donation for church Saturday: $30 dinner for H and I, $20 at the driving range, $11 kindle book Sunday: $10 groceries we forgot about - still fine
Friday- Dinner-$40 Saturday-Breakfast items at grocery-$12 Leftovers from Friday. Amazon order: Batteries, garden trellis, duffle bag for H $87 Sunday-Lunch with leftovers for dinner-$54 Household stuff, pool cleaner; $26
This was a very MM weekend by our usual standards= $219
Not terrible for us, we did a lot of stock-up shopping for dry goods/toiletries.
Friday: $90 - blazer I bought on consignment. Pretty excited about this, it's not my first time selling but my first time buying. I got a pretty cool Helmut Lang blazer for $90. It was originally $226, then 30% off and then I got an additional $70 off for consignment credit. It's at the dry cleaners currently but I am pretty psyched to wear it!
$34 - Dinner - low key burgers,
Saturday: $50 - train tickets home to NJ $11 - coffee and donuts for family $61 - shoprite for cereal, etc. $30 - target assorted stuff $34 - whole foods $40 - lunch for family
It should have been better but DH's company forgot about him (and 5 other peopl) when they handed out bonuses on Friday. Um, oops. He talked to HR this morning and they apologized and said it should be cut this Friday or next.
What we spent: Friday- DH lunch out- $10 My lunch out- $10 McDonald's dinner for the kids- $7
Saturday- Lowes- $80 Grocery store- $83 Chinese food take-out lunch- $11 Pizza with friends- $30
