And I had no idea that Jim Dale of HP audio book fame was Doc Terminus (the quack doctor who wants to catch Elliot)!

I loved this movie as a kid. It has aged surprisingly well. Although there is a TON of drinking that would probably not fly in kid movies these days.

I am not a HP fan, but I LOVE Pete's Dragon. I still know all the words to "Candle On the Water."

I quote the deaf scene with Red Buttons all the time, "a-eeeh?"

I also sing, "I love you too!" to the dogs. I learned Candle on the Water in sign language.

I'm a dork.

I loved this movie as a kid...a lot.
