This is my absolute favorite time of the year. That being said, I need to stay out of the seasonal areas of Home Goods, Target, Joann's, etc., or I will try and justify another rustic witch sign or ghost lights or plug-in pumpkin thing. And that shit adds up.
Does anyone have some cool DIY Halloween crafts worth sharing? I made a cheesecloth ghost a few years ago. I'll try and find the link.

No, I only decorate for Christmas. Well, scratch that, I do have a harvest wreath and mum at the front of my house. My mom used to decorate for every holiday and I loved it as a kid, I just can't be bothered with all that. Plus I'm a habitual cleanser and am constantly throwing stuff out or donating. I don't like clutter or too much stuff. Anywhere. Even in storage closets haha.
Yes, I've really gotten into this year. I've made a couple of these buntings. They are super cheap since I'v e just been using supplies I have already like scrapbook paper, twine, an old book, whatever.

These are so cute! I wish I were crafty.
I decorate more for fall, not specifically Halloween. I love this time of year.

It's a big thing for us. We will put some stuff out starting tomorrow lol. Then on Nov 1st, I'll tear it all down and throw a bunch of paper turkeys and such around the place. The kids love it.

all of my mid century modern, clean lines, admittedly sometimes sterile design sense goes BLOIGGKRERRRR when I see holiday decorations.

Yes. I put stuff up last week. Halloween is my mom's favorite holiday and some of that trickled down to me.
I've amassed a decent collection, mostly by shopping the after-Halloween clearance. I have three bins of fall/Halloween stuff now, which is second only to my Christmas decorations in volume.

Yes, I decorated the inside of the house yesterday. We have so many decorations, it is insane. I don't even use them all unless we have a party.
Next weekend we are decorating outside. We do a graveyard in our front yard. Not sure if we are bringing her out this year or not, but we also have a large witch that we made out of plywood, spray painted black, and place a fog machine behind. That way when I see kids coming for trick-or-treat, I can make the fog machine go, and it looks like her cauldron is smoking. We put a spotlight behind her, too.

It doesn't take a lot of craftiness really. These are the ones I did myself
I usually decorate for fall with harvesty type decorations (I love fall) and I might put up some Halloween window clings on Halloween evening, but that's about it.

Normally I don't but this year I get to only because of my bunco Halloween party. I'm decorating later today and I'm so excited! I love love Halloween.
Halloween is my favorite! I go all out in our house. If we had a yard, I would have the entire lawn decorated. I even have a Halloween outfit set out for DD for tomorrow because I'm so excited about the first day of October. I need to chill lol.
Yes! I love decorating for every holiday. Right now, I have all of my fall decorations out. Halloween specific decorations do not go up until the week before Halloween.
