So my house does have a leak. It happens only when the shower is on and i know exactly which fitting it is (probably just needs a new gasket) but I can't get the stupid pipe to loosen. I could cut it out, but that's a little intimidating.
I did what motzie suggested and tightened it as much as I could. The leak has slowed, so it's not dripping to the kitchen anymore, but it's still there. Thinking of putting some adhesive around the fitting and calling it good.
Also, the dryer takes two hours to dry a medium load of laundry. While I feel lucky we got a dryer in the first place... It's going to get old, fast.
Does the dryer vent to the outside need to be cleaned? Also, that sucks about the leak. Hopefully it'll resolve with the additional stuff you're thinking of adding.

Good suggestion. I was looking up how much a heating element was, and read the first thing you should do is clean out the venting system. Going to try that and see if it helps.

I hate proboards today.
Me too.
My parents had a similar dryer issue and cleaning out the venting system worked wonders.
Definitely clean the dryer vent. We had the same problem. I removed the vent cap outside and cleaned out the vent pipe (with a leaf blower... LOL) and it was fine for awhile. Then I realized that the stupid honeycomb vent cap kept clogging. So I replaced that with a flappy vent cap and it's been perfect for about 2 years now.
If the cleaning the vent doesn't help... Unplug the dryer, pull it out and take off the back and see if there's a ton of lint in there too. There usually is.
For the pipe... Did you buy the home warranty when you closed? It's likely worth it to get a plumber out there to fix the pipe once and for all.

The house came with a warranty, but I'm confused on what it covers. Plus there's a $75 deductible. Would have been cheaper to fix it myself... But if it keeps leaking, I'll call.

I have eaten 6 oatmeal raisin cookies this morning... Someone stop me from getting more!!! Although, oatmeal IS good for you, right? And raisins are fruit...
Also, while dunking said cookies in my coffee, I managed to drip coffee on the front of my white shirt. I think I need to go home.

I'm having a sad panda day.
You get a "do over". But only if you share your cookies.
My coworker and I were interviewed for a video advertising us to a specific group/clientele. The video was just released today and I'm sad because they didn't use her at all. I'm the only person talking who works here, other people talking are happy customers/consumers. So weird. People have come up to me at work to tell me I did well. But wrote, watching myself on video Is uncomfortable.

She's not as hot as you, is she?
Does it have to be about that?
I think maybe I captured more of the emotion the videographer wanted for the story he wanted to tell.
I'm feeling all awkward at work today. People keep coming up and commenting on the video. I don't like the spotlight, now I just want to hide in my office all day.
