On my run. Note I said inhaled, not swallowed.
I was running and gasping for air - as I usually do while running; it's alarming but perfectly normal for me - when I saw this small fluttery insect right in front of my face. I think it was a tiny moth. It was too close and my seriously deep inhale was just too much for the poor creature, and before I knew it... I sucked him in. I could sort of feel it in my trachea and then I started wheeze-coughing, but he didn't flutter out or anything. I've been coughing on and off for the last couple of hours since I finished the run.
I'm probably going to die of a bronchial infection, right? What are the chances that the moth is inside my lung right now, just biding his time?
