i did not. but i had several tears. i was cleared at 6 weeks to resume normal life activities, but had to wait until 8 for, um, recreational activities.
I did. The stitches healed in the 6 week span, but I developed these sore things (that had nothing to do with it) which added three more weeks. The extra time was not a hardship for me. lol
I have had two large headed babies, so the episiotomy was welcome. they only had to make a small cut with K and I healed by 6 weeks.
As in it is going to hurt to walk for 6 weeks minimum?? It even hurts to lie in bed, ugh
For me, the walking pain lasted a couple of weeks or so, but I don't think that has to do with the episiotomy but instead that I had stitches in my vulva, which you can get if you tear too.
Who says it hurts to lie in bed too? For me I had to be careful how I sat at first and then getting up, but in bed I was fine.

no way. maybe a couple weeks. then it goes to weird but not painful feeling for a week or so (you'll still be swollen from hormones and stuff). then you'll feel practically normal.

Lying in bed is almost as painful as walking around for me
