On Monday we're going to our hospital's Big Brother/Big Sister class. At the class they will take pictures of the siblings and keep them on hand for the births. When the babies are born, the sibling's picture is placed on the bassinets with a little sign that says, "<dd's name>'s little brother/sister."
Every time I think about it, it makes me cry. I can't believe that my BABY is going to be a big sister, to not one but TWO babies.
That is such a neat idea!! It's amazing seeing your child with their sibling for the first time. My daughter was so excited for her baby sister. She kept giving her hugs and kisses every 5 minutes lol . I'm sure your D will be the best big sister ever to her new brother and sister
Oh goodness that is the sweetest idea and incogneato you just need to get rid of that photo ASAP because it's not helping my intense baby fever. must.have.baby. (heart)
Can I AW (for like a second) the best picture I have? It's the moment that DD1 came into my room for the first time after I had DD2. I am SO HAPPY that DH caught this moment:
I want to cry every time I look at it.
Oh, this is the sweetest, most amazing picture. Thank you for sharing. It made me cry, too.
Shoot. Just checked. Next possible classes are 2 days after the latest they'll let me go after due date. So. Prob not happening. Bummer! I completely forgot. A few friends thought c would get a lot out of a class like that.
I'm already emotional at the thought of DD when the little one is born. She is so scared of hospitals and convinced that is where people go before they die (to the point she sat in DH's lap sobbing for an hour and a half on Saturday when I went to pick my mom up because she was afraid I was going to stay).
