I don't get it. Where are in the house and yes she is walking around, etc but she is sweaty to the point that her hair is completely wet. She will wake up from naps like this too, but not while sleeping during the night.
Does she have thick/a lot of hair? I know my head gets hot really easily because the heat can't escape through my head like a normal person. It's like I'm perpetually wearing a hat. lol

No it's fine (in terms of the strands) and is not very full. It's a conundrum.

Hmmm. My hair is actually fine too, each individual strand - there's just a ton of it. She may just have a hotter body temp or something, some people just run hot, kwim? I feel for her though - it's not easy going through life as a face sweater. lol Though I guess the upside is my underarms don't sweat much at all (if ever) so at least I'm not stinky? heh

lol true. When she was on soy formula she started the sweating and then it was stinky sweat. LIke needed a bath every day, her head was that stinky. :/

Aw, poor baby (and you! lol). Guess soy isn't good with her body chemistry or something.

DS is like this, too. He is always sweaty. If he's having a tantrum or crying a bunch, it will get worse and his whole head will be soaked. He's almost 2 and still has practically no hair. I just assumed he runs hot.

Ooh this reminds me - cleo29 does she flush/blush easily? I am ridiculous with flushing/blushing - even just remembering something embarrassing will turn me beet red, which in turn makes my head temp go up like whoa. Maybe it's something along those lines that makes us prone to being "hot heads"?
This is me. I'm a total face/head sweater. Any temp over 85 and most of my hair is wet. I carry a handkerchief in the summer so I can wipe when I get indoors.

A little bit. She is fair skinned and even when she cries she gets really blotchy. There is no way she will ever get away with crying and people not knowing. lol

I have always been a head sweater. It sucks. My mom says I used to wake up from naps with my hair soaked. The rest of my body doesn't really sweat at all. I think it's because I have a big brain.

Her and me both. Next time she's being super emotional/upset feel her temp. I'd be willing to bet her head will feel blazing hot.
