I have no experience in this, but when my DD sleeps through the night and I wake up engorged, I keep a hand pump on my nightstand to relieve some pressure really quick without having to get out of bed or turn lights on. I know that won't help your lo with the change though. Good luck
Ear plugs. For you - honestly. It's going to break your heart if she's upset and you're going to want to run in there.
I just had to do this with some sleep training/midnight feeding episodes. I had a hard time not going in (H was with her) and cuddling her and feeding her.

We tried this and DS just got SO PISSED when DH would go in instead of me. So I just cuddled him instead of nursing him, and he got used to it pretty fast.
How often does she nurse at night? You could try eliminating one at a time if it's more than 1-2.
2-6 times a night. The feeding teams at two hospitals think it needs to be cold turkey night weaning.
I'm sorry, I didn't know about this info.
Go with their advice, and I hope you see a big change soon! Even if it's rough the first few nights, it doesn't mean it's not going to work eventually.

oh man, and I thought I had it rough with having to feed my DD twice last night! I don't know how you've been able to handle it for that long. My DD is almost 8 months and typically wakes up once a night to eat and I'm losing my mind as it is. I have no advice, but wanted to say good luck!
