I seriously think it's fine. Yes, it's glitter, but it's a neutral color and not ridiculously flashy. It's not like you're wearing bright pink or turquoise glitter nails.
I will probably keep it for the next few days. I just usually try to stay conservative since I work for a faith based organization. I got red highlights in my hair a few weeks ago and colored over them after two days because I was concerned it was unprofessional.
I never gave any thought to whether my polish was professional or not. I'm going to bed but what's the rule? Anything non-neutral is unprofessional? I feel like I see a LOT of colors when people post about their polish. Are some colors OK?
I currently work with a lady that wears bedroom slippers at work so its not relevant now but I may need this knowledge in the future.
I agree you your husband. I'm also in physician recruitment
Psychiatrists and neurologists would love them!
How much of your work is in person v. over the phone? My husband generally didn't meet with the recruiters he used. She could have been naked in a santa hat for all it mattered.

All of my screenings are over the phone, but I interview all candidates in person.
I really like that polish! I have to dress business casual for my job and I do what I want with my nails. What you could do is paint them all a solid color then use the sparkly stuff on your ring finger nail. It's called an accent nail. Apparently it's a new thing but I've done that and I love it. That way not all of your nails are so flashy if you are worried it's unprofessional.
It wouldn't be a problem at all in my office, but I'm a software designer in a small office and don't see customers / vendors regularly. I wouldn't wear it on a day that we had someone visiting the office, so I'm with your H on this
Cute polish though, save it for a long weekend / NYE.
Do you people really stare at your coworkers nails to verify if they're professional or not? When I worked in an office I barely knew what was on my own nails, never mind anyone else's.
I work from home now but I never thought people gave a fuck about my manicure. Then again I'm not very professional and don't have to personally interact with anybody, so....
I change my mani so often I don't even worry about it. It's nail polish, not a neck tattoo.
If someone has a problem with it, they'll tell you.
i have to laugh at this because it's so very untrue. sure, at a certain point someone will say something. but, generally speaking, if you put off an air of unprofessionalism at the office, you're going to get talk about behind your back and be unaware that people are forming such opinions. because offices are high school redux.
i do not think its professional. maybe on toes.
ETA: i also don't think it's the most unprofessional thing that will likely show up at your office today. because the world is going to hell in a handbasket and people are wearing sport backpacks and sneakers to business offices. /grumble grumble i'm old
I really like them and it would be fine in my office-I've worn Harry Potter themed nails to work- but it's a casual office and I don't typical interact face to face with clients. I probably wouldn't if I had a meeting.
I would think how she conducts herself in her work, her demeanor, her work performance, interactions with her clients, etc., would dictate how she is perceived NOT an itty bitty amount of nail.polish.
On her.fingertips...she's not covered in head to toe glitter with pigtails or something. Then MAYBE I could see the disdain.
And no, my fingernails are bare right now but I can and have worn glitter nail polish to work. In meetings with CEOs and executives and they couldn't care less (if they even noticed in the first place which clearly they don't because they have more bigger fish to fry than that).

OMFG! LOL
She asked if people thought it was unprofessional. People are being honest. This makes you sad? Buck up, buttercup!
