I wait until it is cold out. I have to see a high in the 60s before I will wear them. I imagine in Texas you can bust them out a little before that. I get too hot in boots if it isn't cool out. I am also not one to discuss shoe fashion at this point though as I am currently rocking rainbow flip flops with ALL outfits including the work pants I currently have on. LOL
In Texas as well. I spend the majority of my day in an icebox of an office so I break out my boots as of Oct. 1st. I LOVE my boots and look forward to getting to wear them all summer.

I overheat really easily - I don't even close my apartment windows until it's like low 50s outside - so the idea of wearing boots while it's still in the 80s is making me feel sweaty just thinking about it.

Wait until it's cold or else you risk getting some major side eye from people. I have an amazing new pair I am just dying to wear but they're fall boots and even though it's technically fall I won't wear then until it hits below 70 here. Rock your flip flops or sandals while you can girl!
It was 80 here yesterday. I just can't see boots in 80 degree weather. Just doesn't seem right, no matter what the calendar says. Personally, it needs to be around 50 before I wear them.
Yes. I only wear mine during fall/winter (if it was 60 degrees in mid-July, it still just wouldn't feel right unless that was the normal climate where I lived), and only when it is around 70 or below.
