Yay for TIP accountability! The color looks a bit off in this photo because it was dark in there. I hate how creamy all our trim is, but I'm not prepared to paint it all, so it's staying for now. All the accessories I have are blue and white. Hopefully I can get the room set up by the end of the week.
I love it! I can't wait to see it after you add the accessories.
Any other projects you need to get done, Motzie? Should we start a thing?
Um, yeah. Tons.
- Dining room curtains* - Pillow for the playroom daybed* - Sink and toilet (and everything else in the powder room)* - Shelves in the laundry room - Hanging up a zillion things I have framed and ready to go, but I just can't seem to get on the wall - Hang the mirror in the dining room* - Paint and recover several chairs
Everything starred is what I want to get done before A's party in 2 weeks.

How about you?
How about me? Ahahahahahahahahahahahaha ::deep breath:: ahahahahahahahahahahaha
The next project I want to tackle is the bathroom. Which needs:
- Finish patching holes (which can't begin until the leak is fixed) - Paint (trim, ceiling, cabinet, walls) - Shelves - Curtains - Shower curtain rod (right now it's just a cheap tension rod, but I want a nice curved one) - Shower curtain (right now it's just a liner) - hooks - maybe* a new vanity/sink
Until the leak is fixed, I'll keep tearing up carpet (because it costs me nothing and makes me feel accomplished) and I need to finish some sewing (which should also cost be nothing, since I should have all the supplies I need already).
I'm also on the looks out for shelves in the living room and dining room. I think I found what I want for the living room, but the dining room has been a bit more tricky.
I can't believe you are going to get all of that done in two weeks!!!

FTYF.
I just have to bust my ass after she goes to bed each night. My sister is also coming this weekend, and possibly my mom for a day, so I will put them to work too. I'm going to set up a sewing table in the guest bedroom so I have get the curtain fabric hemmed and maybe start the pillows. I get so nervous whenever I try to sew, but I know I can do it.

motzie I feel the same about sewing as well. I know I can do it, but I still intimidated just before I start. At least pillows and curtains are straight lines. Doesn't get any easier than that.
(I'm trying to pump myself up to sew DS's curtains, lol)
I love your stripes motzie. Now I really want to paint my kitchen.
I have a big list too. I feel like I shouldn't have a big list because I have an apartment but I have a really big list.
Hardware on the kitchen cabinets Paint the kitchen Buy second chair for the living room Wash all the drapes in the house Make curtains for my sewing room Re organize and sort all the closets Buy a new dresser/wardrobe Buy a new bedframe Get the carpets cleaned (in my head I want to rip them out and install hardwood) Finish the shadow box I have hanging on the wall with nothing in it Stain and paint all my kitchen chairs.
