Thanks for listening to all my plans for the past month. We rocked Hs family vacation and had a blast! Drunk golf is always great.
BSC SIL was over all pretty well behaved. They were there for a quarter of it. Which was sad for my inlaws but hey, I'm not complaining! Only weird thing she did was show up at my inlaws as MIL was watching 8 grandkids under 8 while we were at the golf tourney. Apparently, MIL was on a sippy cup filling roll and Rubes got milk in hers instead of formula.
I wasn't home 8 seconds and SIL came tattling to me about it! I was like ummmm....really? LOL. Rubes can have regular milk in another 2 weeks anyways, she has had a ton of dairy already, only had like 3 sips, it was an honest mistake and my MIL takes good enough care of her otherwise. She was going on and on about how she'd be P*ssed if MIL did that to her kid.
Again..LOL...Ummm really?! It wasn't like MIL hid it from me. She told me, but knows I don't care..and besides..it's done and over. SIL would not let this go.
Only sad part of the weekend was my grandmother died in a car crash. We were super close, so I'm pretty tore up about it. Although, I'm kind emotionless at the moment. I'm still in next on the agenda mode. I hid it from the party for awhile, but it came out eventually. We carried on. It's what my Grandma would've wanted me to do for sure. It's a long story but I can't take care of it today anyways. It's going to be a long, long weeek....and just after I got all the other stress in my life settled. Icky. Icky. Icky.
So glad to hear it was a good time and sorry to hear about your grandma
Thanks Sierra. It's pretty rough but I know heaven is great too. I'm still in shock I think. If Grandma had been old and sick and I was to expect this I'd be better off...but a car crash? It's upsetting. Esp. when the kid was 18 pulling a boat, on the phone and crossed the line. So sad all around.

That is horrible! Thinking of you for sure it's always hard to lose people especially when they aren't ill
I'm sorry to hear about your grandma :-( T&P to you.
LOL at taddling on milk instead of formula. DD gets whole milk to drink all the time (not in place of formula, just as something to drink-but if she got milk once in place of formula, dude NBD she'll live). I think I'd be sad I missed the face of the kid who got the formula instead of milk! Ha!
Sorry to hear about your Grandma. What a rollercoaster weekend for you!
I KNEW BSC SIL wouldn't leave her kids with a babysitter and go golfing! Did they stay for the weekend and just not participate, or did they just drive in for a day??

They came on Saturday, conveniently in the afternoon after we all left for golf. Stayed overnight which was surpising and left on Sunday shortly after the bowling festivities...so all in all..she did fairly good.
