What is everyone up to tonight? Anyone doing something fun?
I need ideas of what to do in the colder months. I hate just sitting at home both weekend evenings, but when we can't go to outdoor concerts or outdoor bars or baseball games, etc., there isn't a ton to do in our city.
We're trying to figure out something to get us out of the house tonight and have zero ideas. There aren't any movies out we are interested in seeing that we haven't already seen.
What do you do for dates night with your H besides movies?

Tonight is boring for me. The boyfriend is working an event for his job, and it runs pretty late so I'm just going to be around the house. But I'm about to start baking, so at least I'll have treats!
I like to go to restaurants we've never tried. Order drinks, several courses, and make it a long dinner. He's in the music scene so we go to a lot of local shows, those are always fun. Comedy clubs can be a good time. I'm in a total beer town and brewery tours, followed by lots of beer drinking is fun.

We'll bowl which is something we rarely do in the summer. Sometimes we'll go to an older place that's just bowling, then go for pizza. Other times we'll do a newer place that has a lounge area. We'll do dinner and drinks there first and watch any live music they have.
We definitely eat out and go to the bar more. We both love watching hockey so we will go to a bar to watch the game or invite over another couple. We also go to the minor league hockey games because the tickets are a lot cheaper than NHL tickets.
We'll go to some of the local convention shows like a flower & garden show, boat show, etc.
Ice Skate - not one of my favs but H loves to go.
If you have the BYOB painting classes near you, those are fun. The ones by me do 'couples classes' on Fridays nights.

We love concerts, so there is almost always a show we will enjoy. Specifically we seek out bigger concerts for tickets, but even if we don't have set plans there are plenty of jazz clubs, rock clubs, amateur gig nights, and cover band type places that there's always music to see somewhere.
Pool halls and bowling can be fun, and there's a new drive-in theater we've been talking about going to sometime. I really love going to new restaurants that have international-influence on the cuisine, so I'm always the one to suggest restaurants that hopefully have some different-from-the-norm items that we can try out and share together.

We love going out to dinner so in the winter we like to find restaurants with fireplaces.. We'll go to the bar, grab some wine and sit in the comfy chairs by the fireplace before putting our name in to be seated.
