Mine? About an hour ago ate an entire half stick of butter and then followed it up by eating a ton of grass. I hope she gets this out of her system before night fall. I hate when she eats things that aren't dog food.
The absolute worst, cat turds. We put the litter boxes in an area she cannot get to, so no more turdsie rolls for her.

Don't even get me started. But I will say that I refer to the cat box as "the snack bar" now. Ewwww. No, you canNOT kiss me with that mouth! And I have a nice little portrait of Andrew Jackson, where she ate completely around it, leaving me just the portrait so I'd be sure to know it was a $20 bill this time (instead of all the previous $1's, $5's and $10'a she'd snatched from my purse.)
Also she managed to get a sticky candy stuck to her paw after a walk downtown and licked at it periodically. We didn't realize until a few hours later. ::barf::

When we go to my parents farm they LOVE to eat horse turds. My Westie eats my rosemary bush in the backyard and my Chiweenie has eaten the crotch out of numerous pairs of my underwear. Now my undies always make it to the hamper.

My dog is super weird and super picky. The list of things she will eat is very small. But she has a crazy love for spicy food. Indian is her favorite. We only let her lick a tiny bit, but she begs and begs for Indian food.

also, on the not gross side: ring is the worlds biggest fan of popcorn.
Both of mine love popcorn too!! I always thought it was bizarre.
Stella ate a box of gobstoppers once and pooped rainbows for a few days.
I am annoyed that both dogs have decided that they are above eating the Cheerios the girls are constantly dropping. They don't seem to realize that their entire purpose now is cleaning up after toddlers.
I had a carpet eating dog once (haha, ew.. that sounds gross). Anyway, he loved to find the loose threads and rip up the carpet. That was a fun time.
Mine does this when she cannot find grass to eat. It worries me SO much because...strings! I had to duct tape the carpet down and throw a rug over it until we rip out the carpet.

The lab will eat anything. Seriously anything. Baby wipes (unused - she just decided to dig into a package), flour, a wool sock, any of their poops - the list goes on. Also anything "normal" she will scarf down. She's the best for cleaning up after the kids. I swear we should've named her Hoover.
The beagle sticks to food items and dog poop. Cat poop if its available.
Our hybrid has an interesting obsession with tortillas and really nothing else. We kept blaming the other dogs because he usually isn't naughty or a counter surfer but one day he did it while the other two were kenneled and the mystery was solved. We call him the tortilla bandit.
ETA: Oh and the beagle is the BEST fly/bug hunter! He doesn't rest until the house has been de-flied. I love him for it.
If you feed them pineapple, they won't touch their own poop. :-)
I've heard lots of different things to try but never pineapple! We started feeding them about 1/2 cup more and I think it's working. I guess they were just hungry. :^)
I seriously have the most awesome dog EVER. She doesn't eat anything on the floor unless she gets an approving glance from me. Like, I'll throw food down there and until I tell her to eat it, she won't even though I know she wants to. She also doesn't eat random shit ever. Never digs in the trash, never chews stuff up. Best dog EVAH.
She did have some separation anxiety when we first brought her home so she would chew random shit to help herself deal with it but she grew out of that a long time ago.

one time my dog ate 3 packs of flavored gum. She puked it all up and then would keep eating the gum. trip to the restroom was interesting that night.. the turd was stuck to the gum and i had to help her pull it out, haha.

My dog ate a ton of grass sometime the other week and she was pooping. Well, her last poop was just turd shaped grass and it wouldn't come out all the way. She's running around the yard freaking out about this grass turd and then she'd sit down like she was embarrassed. As she sat down, I quick put the tip of my flipflop on the turd and she stood up to run away and now she was free.
At any rate...the things we do for our dogs.
She used to eat paper towels when we first got her and she'd get them half stuck out of her ass. I had to grab (another paper towel) to help pull that one out. She developed a fear of them and will not let you go near her with one. And in turn, she no longer eats them. Thank God.
