Personal- Be healed enough from my injury to get back to running. (I'm doing spin now instead.) Push past some of my fear points in another sport, which is a goal where I constantly move the bar up. Convince H that we should take a 2 week long vacation next year
Professional- Get this current gig mostly finished; which is somewhat dependent on the customer Get at least one more consulting job lined up or started
real life goals - get the house up to par (we close Friday) and move in, most likely in December. We need to do some electrical wiring updates, replace all light fixtures, tile the kitchen floor, paint the entire interior and refinish the floors. Two of those things are being hired out. Whew! Plus pack and move.
professional goals - apply for more jobs, hopefully get some interviews.
Hmm. I have had a big year already, so at the risk of being greedy...
- run 1st half marathon - finish 1st half ironman - make partner - become car loan free - get our collective SL balance under the $200k mark (starting point: $280k) - run 2nd half marathon (Philly, 11/17, if I can keep going through a minor Achilles injury) - finally paint the mate to a bookcase that's in our living room. Please motivate me on this one: this will look so much better with a 2nd identical bookcase on the other side of the piano - and you can't believe I've left it like this for 2 years - right? The 2nd one is sanded and in the garage.
I also want to paint our front and side garage doors purple. Half of this battle is the painting; the other half is selling Calvin on the idea of purple.
NaNoWriMo Complete clean-out and organization of the garage, storage building, master closet, storage closet and desks. We still have boxes out there from when we moved in last year Donate, donate, donate. Take off 10 pounds Finish painting the exterior iron fence around the property (and save ourselves $3200, so MM)
-Get a new-to-me car (preferably before Thanksgiving) -Sell current car -Stay within the Christmas budget -Finally get over the morning sickness and pregnancy yuckiness and got on top of housekeeping again. -Hang pictures in our house & finish backsplash for inside projects -Finish current phase of backyard landscaping (still need bark in flower beds, dirt behind retaining wall, & building a fountain) -Get family pictures done for Christmas card. -Get an IRA started. I've had money deposited into a savings account every paycheck so that I can get the $3k minimum to start. I have the money at this point, I just need to get the thing started.
Get back in the weight loss mode. Read 5 more books. Attend 2 adoption information nights and decide what route we want to take with adoption next year.

The lack of symmetry is disturbing. You must fix this immediately!

Join a gym with a pool for winter Finish up passport application for DH & I. Family Photos for Christmas cards Two more runs on the schedule a 5k & 15k. New couch shopping- would like new sectional for start of the year.
Every year seems to go by more quickly than the one preceding it.
I want to successfully complete this semester of nursing school, plan a vacation for December, and make a more concerted effort to exercise regularly and eat healthfully.

Here are mine: Personal 1. I will work out at least 3x week. 2. I will cook dinner for my family 5 nights a week, and Bagel Bites do not count!! 3. I will meditate / yoga/ walk something for my own sanity 4/ week.
Financial 1.If current offer is not accepted, I will have added 12K to dp fund. 2. If current offer is accepted, that 12K will add to efund 3. Max out my and DH Roths.
I have 4 lbs to lose to get to my goal weight. I've been floating here for the last three months. I don't actually care if I hit that number because I like how I look/feel now, but it would be nice to say I 'hit goal'.
I need to save an additional 1k to pay for a party we are throwing for IL's 40th anniversary. I should have been saving more all year.
I'm hoping by this year end weight I'll be able to fit into my wedding rings again!
Me too! I realized the other day that its been almost 3 years since I've worn them :?
My goals are: - Lose 20 pounds to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight - Get more organized at home - Spend more time with my girls. Our evenings go by so fast and we really don't have time for anything other than dinner, bath and homework. - Get out more in order to meet new people and expand my friend network. I really don't have many friends and its lonely. - Learn to ice skate

Sell our house. Get settled into my new job and new city. Finish the year living in the same city as DH. This one is the most important to me. Find a place to rent in our new city that's within budget.
Get a promotion (and raise)-done! Fully fund retirement to IRS max (on track) Pay off grad school student loans (on track for February)
All of this is somewhat dependent on the shutdown resolving...we are losing a lot of money right now. We can survive for a while but it means that all of our financial goals are getting short changed.

I have a month to go before my marathon and I want to complete it. I would like to start taking Spanish classes. I maintained my weight all year, worked out five days a week, cooked dinner most weekday nights and made time for the kids and date nights. I would like to have more sex. I want to save enough money for us to get a new patio next summer.
I have made no new friends, and I did drop one of them. I need to go back to taking my certification. I did get a raise. I gained 20 pounds, instead of losing 10. I'm still TTC'ing.
1. Re-build e-fund. We used them with the doctor and car expenses.
2. We did increase DH' 401K contributions.
3. We need to finish some home projects which will take us back $2K in order to sell the house. Backsplash, complete fencing, store some crap to self-storage, repaint some parts of the house, and overall stage house.
