I love this thread!
I don't really have anything planned. I will probably go in to work for a few hours so I can get things done without the phone ringing and without interruptions from co workers. After that I may venture down the road to the corn maze. I've always wanted to do that, but never have.
I need to figure out a Halloween crafty thing to do with DS. Some kind of decoration, but not carving pumpkins. He's going that with his dad, and quite frankly he wasn't very excited about doing it the last time we talked about it. He's perfectly happy with the fake, light up jack o lanterns that we already have out. Plus he'll be with stbx on Halloween, so I don't really see the point.
Could you paint mini pumpkins starrieskies. Make spider webs with poster board and puff/fabric paint? Bats with black paper and string? Fold them in half to make them look like they are flying.
We're running an 8k tomorrow and then we have a date with fall on Sunday. A hike, some fall-like beverages and pumpkin picking and getting some mums. I love the crap out of fall.

partiallysunny my first thought was painting mini pumpkins because DS LOVES to paint. But I kind of want to do something that I can store easily and bring out year after year. I'm going to hit up Michael's at lunch today to see if I can find come inspiration...

Plastic pumpkins?
Yes, that occurred to me too, it's just a matter of finding ones that are small enough for me to store easily. I also thought maybe I could get little wooden ones to let him paint with orange and green paint since we've done similar projects for Valentine's Day and Independence Day...
Tonight, some grocery shopping. If pup guy is here this weekend instead of SD to see his grandma, maybe trivia. Who knows.
Tomorrow I'm helping to babysit my niece, going to a roller derby bout (YAYYY) and then to a friend's birthday bash at the best bar ever.
Sunday.... bubble bath in the whirlpool tub, watch bad tv, read, and lounge in the huuuuge house I'm staying in. Generally relaxing and being a lazy ass.
It's been a crazy week at work. I grudgingly agreed to help out my senior manager and the VP on a short-turnaround project (read: it's annual review time) and my nights have been late and my mornings early. It's due today and everyone's on edge. I got caught in the crossfire as another senior manager and the VP yelled at each other and threatened to get an HR rep. FUN! These are grown men by the way. Like, grandfathers.
I've had too much caffeine and feel like shit. Tonight a friend is throwing a huge Mad Men birthday party at her office (she owns the company, and it's a creative industry so there's pool tables and shit there) so I have to somehow dye my hair red between now and 8 pm so I can show up as Joan.
Tomorrow I'll watch football (again, grudgingly because the Gators SUCK this year) and catch up on my DVR. Sunday? Who knows. The house needs to be cleaned, but it might just be one of those read-a-book-in-bed days. There's a wine festival in town this weekend, but I just can't bring myself to go stand in hour-long lines to taste the same stuff I tasted at my bachelorette weekend. This ain't Napa Valley, KWIM?

I've seen a bunch of cute fall crafts at Target. I think there are wreaths and ornament-like things, fun stuff like that.
