I've been using nursery water, but I'm assuming I can't fill the bottles with water? I use powder formula so pre-making a few bottles with formula is a no go.
Also, I will use the Moby to wear her. Will I need to take her out of it to get through security?
I actually think if you have sealed bottles of water you'll be ok because it's considered medically necessary. Here's the TSA page that talks more about it.
Give yourself plenty of time. And however much time you think you'll need, add half an hour.
Pack extra clothes for yourself in your carry on in addition to extra clothes for her. Nothing makes for a more miserable flight than wearing throw up (I speak from experience) because you have nothing to change into.
You can make pre-make bottles. Baby milk / formula is ok - they just test it at security. Or, you could just bring the powder and fill it with bottled water that you buy from the kiosk after you get through security.
You can use regular water. And, as a mom who use powder formula, I never bought the nursery water stuff. I always just used tap water. Unless you have really crappy water where you live, I would save on that expense.
If you can't take the water in with you, you can buy bottled water there.
Also, this thing is awesome for mixing formula. Less bubbles which can mean less gas.
I can't speak to the formula question, but the last few times I have flown with C I have worn her in the Ergo and they let me go through the metal detector wearing her and then the pat me down after. So much easier!

and then get this to make up your day's worth of formula. It's awesome.
I tooooooooooootally used that mixer, too, when DS was itty bitty. You can make a day's worth of formula at a time! And once he outgrows it, it makes GREAT mixed drinks. I mean, for me + DH. Sheesh.
And we used our tap water, with a filter attachment. My CO's water is like top 10 in the nation. It tastes good.
If it's for the baby you are allowed to take it through security. So take whatever you want to, and tell them that it is needed for the baby and they will just test it by holding a little strip over it.
When we traveled last year with our LO, my H even told TSA that his opened gatorade was for the baby and we took that on as well.
When I flew with A, I bought the premade bottles that were sealed that I just had to pop the nipple on. The convenience was worth the extra money for that day.
