I felt magically awesome yesterday but today woke up with EVERY MUSCLE IN MY BODY hurting. Like from my jaw to my calves. Google tells me this could be anesthesia side effect, or from air being pumped into me, or from my sizeable body being manipulated when it was basically dead weight. Does anybody remember feeling like that the day after a D&C or any other procedure where you were put under?
Ironically my abdomen feels better than anything else, and I have no bleeding at all today. I did ask the nurse when she called to check up on me today and got a "yeah there's a lot of reasons why you probably feel lousy." So, okay. But I'm still wondering if other people felt THIS shitty.
My mom has always been extremely, very, seriously sore for up to a week after an anesthesia procedure and it was especially bad after the air pumping from her hysterectomy.
I was late to your what to expect thread the other day, but this is how I felt. Had the D&C on a Thursday, came home felt great. Watched tv, ate some food, even did a few things around the house. Next day, went to get some groceries and came home and had to sleep for 3 hours. SO tired and sore. Felt great the day after that. I don't know if it was advised, but got drunk at a birthday party that night. I put my emotions in a glass and drank them with large quantities of wine. Hugs to you.

Drinking doesn't sound half bad. I'm still planning on going to this Halloween thing with my family tonight that involves a medium amount of walking so hopefully I won't regret that. I figure I have the weekend to relax, the only other thing planned is bridesmaid dress shopping with my friend tomorrow.
Thank you guys, I won't panic about it unless it gets way worse.
Hmm. Now that you mention it, maybe I did. I think I just figured I was depressed.
Have fun at the Halloween thing. Is it where we hung out last yr? If so dude, I want to go. Not sure i can muster the energy yet. I love October. I feel like I'm missing out on all festivities this year.

Tell your parents the little monkey says hi
I will tell them (they were so taken with her! This is the Greenfield Village Halloween thing, though. So more walking... *-)
I just took a hot shower and I feel a little better. The worst part is getting up after sitting for a long time (like I was doing some work on the laptop today and when I tried to get up Brian had to hoist me off the couch) so if I just keep walking maybe it will be okay?
And thank you Scotty, I am drinking water like it's my JOB because I feel like that can only help my muscles.
