Ringo doesn't eat paper towels, but he loves to "help" with making the bed by jumping on it while I put on the new sheets. He also enjoys lying on clean clothing while I'm folding it.

Paper towels, napkins, toilet paper, tissue paper, tissues, actual paper, newspaper - Carl eats it all.
We don't make our bed (I'm lazy), but Carl will nap in the middle of the pile of blankets. When I go to bed and want a blanket, I try to move him off so I can pull it over myself. Well, Carl doesn't want to give up his "nest," so he goes limp and becomes dead weight and is IMPOSSIBLE to move.
Yes to the lying in the bedding and on top of clean clothes.
My dog also chases the vaccuum and the broom (sometimes barking/growling at it, although she's getting better). The one time she was let inside by H while I was mopping, she ran all over and tried to sniff the lysol (and probably would have tried to lick it up if I hadn't shooed her away).
She actually always looks sad when I'm going from room to room cleaning up. She seems to know it's not playtime and she's not going to get any attention unless it's for doing something bad, lol.
Mine are less interested in "eating" paper products and much more interested in tearing them to shreds in the first 30 seconds after I walk out the door. i swear, I close and lock the front door, go to my car, remember I left said paper towels out and they are already turned into confetti.
My girls also like to shop in the laundry hamper, nosing through the contents and pulling out socks or gloves they think would make lovely toys.
