Did you lose weight when you quit taking it? I hate my weight right now. I'm the heaviest I've ever been (even compared to pregnant with twins) and I'm trying to lose weight. I lost all my baby pounds and was back to 135lbs in a few months. Since starting Cymbalta last year, I've gained 45lbs. I've been dieting and exercising for the last 3 weeks, and have only lost 3lbs. I'm sure it's due to the cymbalta. I'm wondering if it would be easy to lose the weight if I stop the cymbalta and use more celexa (currently 20mg, but can use up to 40mg). I'm really really hating my body at this weight. None of my clothes fit, and trying on new things make me want to cry.
I'm just so frustrated that my pre cymbalta diet made me happy. I've been on a strict diet, and it's hardly working. I want to eat carbs again but will hate myself if I gain more. I'm hoping I can talk to my doctor about this. I want my pre antidepressant body back so bad!!
I did Lexapro, gained on it and didn't magically trim down after stopping. I tried Wellbutrin which most people lose on, but it made me jittery. I'm doing WW, it's what works for me. I've lost 20lb since July, but haven't been "perfect".
