Our neighborhood Halloween parade is this afternoon. I am definitely not having K go 1) she has croup 2) I still have not found her costume.
I was going to keep C home too because I am not sure if she has it too (she has been coughing here and there, a regular cough, and has had a runny nose). Anyway, would you play it smart by keeping them home in an effort to not spread it?
Not sure how the weather is where you are but I would probably skip it. (It is cold and dreary here so not the best place for a borderline sick kid to be out and about.)

If she's not rundown I'd take her. I assume it's going to be outside so I wouldn't worry about her spreading her illness to anyone else. Bundle her up tightly if you are in a cold climate.
Would she care about missing it? That would also be a factor in my decision.
Croup isn't contagious. The cold that caused the croup is but i wouldn't keep my kid home to stop the spread of a cold- unless it was really bad- we'd never go anywhere all winter! If she's up to it and feels ok id take her
I don't know if I would skip it. Croup isn't contagious, and isn't the outside air good for croup? If she isn't exhausted, I might take them both. Oh wait, one doesn't have a costume, nevermind! I would let C go if she wanted to
