Thinking about getting a new mattress. I don't know if I should go sleep number, memory foam, or something else. When we separated I ended up taking our brand new guest mattress, but it is firm, and I am not a fan. I prefer soft.

We already have our mattress picked out for when we buy a house and get a king size bed. It's from Ikea. I lay on it every time we go in the store. It is awesome.
I second the suggestion of a memory foam mattress topper. I've slept on one numerous times at a friend's house and her parents house and LOVED it! I wish we had one on our current bed, because it is hard as a rock.

I just bought a new mattress which I really like. I think it's a Beautyrest? Anyway, I like plush mattresses and I didn't want a pillow top because they don't last as long. I'm not a fan of memory foam myself, and if you live by yourself, I don't really see the point of a sleep number since you can just buy whatever mattress you like best.

My kids both have tempurpedics and love them. When we were hunting for a matress for ourselves, we both hated memory foam. I think mine is a Black Label with a pillowtop. All the mattreeses look alike and I have no iada which model it is, but I'm pretty sure it's an "ultra plush pillow top" . Gosh, I love this mattress. I like having a queen, because I can hook my hands and toes over all the edges; and then when I get a king in a hotel it's still a novelty.
