We bought the groupon and started yesterday. Dinner was salmon with cilantro and parsley rub, herbed couscous. Tonight was flank steak and French potato salad (we added a veg to this). So far, I have really enjoyed the meals.
I didn't see this groupon... I've been feeling pretty lazy lately so this would be right up my alley. I just ate two slices of costco peperoni pizza. That's the extent of my cooking these days.
And you can choose other options if clean eating isn't what you're interested in following. For $29, we figured that it was less than $3 a month and would give us other options. I really loved the French potato salad tonight; it never dawned on me that I could make potato salad while DH was cooking our protein.
Enjoying those recipes as well. Living social had a deal as well few weeks back, they have the deal a lot 29 for the year. DH and I are enjoying all of them last month.
We swapped the salmon and steak since the salmon needed to marinate for 2 hours. We made the steak marinade last night. It was so tender. A definite keeper.
We are doing the plan for just 2 people. But tonight's dinner had a lot of meat, so we have some left over. We also added a vegetable, because I felt weird not having one with the meal.

I looked over the sample clean eating menu on their website and it looks tasty, but I feel like I would end up spending a lot of money on ingredients I dont have on hand and/or wouldn't use frequently like nicoise olives, capers, etc. Has this been an issue for you yet?

I don't like olives or capers, so we have decided to try to make 3-4 of the meals per week. That gives us a night for pizza, a night out, and 1-2 nights of making our favorites. So if there is something that we're :::meh::: about, we'll skip it.

I'm looking at doing the clean living e-meals, do you mind giving me an estimate on what the grocery bill was? I'm a SAHM and trying to decide if it fits in the budget, or if we should go with the regular meal plan for 2.
I'm still torn on this because what I really liked was that they would make meals that take into account what is on sale at a particular store, but the meal plan I am interested in (clean eating) doesn't seem to do that.
Are you on the two person plan? How is portioning? Do you have leftovers? Are you still hungry? Usually if I plan 7 days of meals it's too much food and there is no chance to eat the left overs...
