What color counter stools should I get?

Here is a horrible pic of our kitchen (with sellers stuff), to give you an idea of the layout.

It's really neutral. (If it matters, the fridge is black, the rest of the appliances will eventually be black, and the counters are similar to this:


So I guess i'm not sure what to match the barstools to. There is an open corner in the kitchen (where the photo above was taken) where I have a console table (with my cookbooks and some decorative items on it). It is the console table from an old discontinued Pier 1 line that matches this random photo that I found online:


Should I match the barstools to that? (something silver metal and/or rattan?)

Should I get the barstools that match our dining chairs? They are from JCPenney (the dining table/chairs is in the next room which is open to the kitchen:


Or should I do something totally different?

FWIW DD would be sitting at the counter on them so I can't do backless, and the seat cusion needs to be easy to clean.

I'm thinking do the same as your chairs, but I would do backless stools.
