The good: the weather was perfect, my SIL came up from DC (I hadn't seen her forever because of my ankle situation) so we spent a lot of time drinking and spending time on the beach, H and his friend came in 2nd in the 2-day golf tournament they played in, and we ate and drank amazingly well all weekend.
The bad: walking on sand was difficult and painful. It was actually the example my orthopedist used way back when about how I'd never really walk the same. He was right - that shit was no bueno (but still worth it to be at the beach).
The ugly: 1. H thought his brother was hitting on me, and I think so too - I told H I noticed it last time we visited and it made me uncomfortable. We didn't really address it after that, but ewww. 2. MIL blew up at FIL for no reason (from what I'm told, H & I were in the kitchen). She took off for awhile and then came home and locked herself in the bedroom. All the kids took turns talking to her and she kept saying that on Monday she was going to the bank, taking her money and leaving FIL. She finally came out since we were actually supposed to be celebrating FIL's bday that night, but it was awkward and FIL cried at the end, so that was super awkward. The next day was better though, so who knows. MIL is legit crazy and FIL doesn't help.

YAY for all the good stuff, especially the beach time and good weather!
I saw your update on FB about the fighting, that is always super awkward and not fun to be around. I hope they can either work it out or agree to separate so that you aren't put in that type of environment often in the future.
Woo hoo for the good stuff, but holy shit on the rest of it! I really hope your ILs can put their fighting aside...that's got to be a difficult situation for YH and his siblings.
And YUCK to your BIL!! I really, really hope you guys are reading too much into it, but considering you felt it the first time, probably not...ewww!
I'm sorry to hear about walking in the sand being so painful- that has to be disheartening. Yes, it was. But whatever, it's much better today.
MIL/FIL situation sounds bad, but locking herself in a room is a little dramatic.
She is a huge drama queen. She harbors so much resentment toward FIL it's not even funny. I hear all the time about how she won't allow FIL's mother to live with them because he didn't let her mother stay with them when she was dying - 4 years ago. It's a huge mess.
OPS (oops) - no mullet on this one! He's actually a good looking guy and he's got a girl that keeps coming to visit him from Seattle even though he's told her that they're not "together" as a couple. That's why I think contagious crazy is the only logical explanation.
